Since the start of the 2023 academic year, Christine Fonlupt has been teaching at l'Ecole Normale de Musique "Alfred Cortot". What a joy and pride to join the lineage of these great educators! Thank you for this opportunity to teach at a very high level.
Christine Fonlupt has been teaching at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Saint-Maur-des-Fossés since 2003, the year she was appointed as a piano teacher. The CRR is directed by Bruno Mantovani.
Christine Fonlupt is also an assistant professor at the Conservatoire National de Musique et de Danse de Paris. Since 2004, she teaches sight-reading for singers. A key training institution in France and Europe, the CNSMDP has trained generations of internationally renowned musicians. Located at 209 avenue Jean Jaurès 75019 Paris, near the Cité de la Musique and the Philharmonie, it is directed by Emilie Delorme.
Since 2015, she has organized piano ensemble concerts by arranging famous scores for this formation, culminating in the Piano Orchestra project, which has been performed three times at the Philharmonie de Paris.
The scores for these piano ensembles are published by 2MC éditions.
Christine Fonlupt teaches many students in teacher training through CEFEDEM and CNSM programs. She is also a tutor for master's theses (TEP) at CNSMDP. Her extensive and structured experience allows her to offer individualized preparation for DE and CA teaching exams and to serve on many juries and recruitment panels.
Always committed to knowledge transmission, Christine Fonlupt has been teaching for 30 years and has trained many generations of pianists. In Grenoble, she studied under Janine Collet and Christian Bernard (a student of V. Perlemuter), and then at the CNSM in Paris under Bruno Rigutto (a disciple of Samson François). During her studies, she also received guidance from Jean-Philippe Collard, Brigitte Engerer, Nicholas Angelich, and many other musicians. After graduating from CNSM Paris with a first prize in piano and chamber music, she held positions in Bourges and Nancy before joining the CRR of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés and CNSMDP.
